If you followed the post-rock sene last year then somehow you just knew we’d bring these fine Englishmen along, didn’t you? We simply had to given how good their debut LP “The Night is for Dreamers” is! And if you don’t follow post-rock at all well you’re in for a treat, as Din of Celestial Birds are one of the most exciting young bands we ever brought to the festival, and will instantly turn you into a fan. Whether you have a soft spot for bombastic climaxes or for introspective catharsis, this UK quintet has something for you, as their widely acclaimed debut album “The Night is for Dreamers” amply showed last year. On it, Din of Celestial Birds soar to dizzying heights, in a masterful display of all things post-rock: from blissful melodies to sweeping climaxes passing through exhilarating crescendoes and even sprawling “metal” passages, this album truly has it all!

Din of Celestial Birds also display an ear for catchy and memorable tunes as their songs are filled with moments that will just stay with you and before you know it you’ll find yourself bobbing your head and whistling along. We’re extremely excited to be bringing you one of the most hyped up young bands in the scene for what is going to be a live premiere of sorts; this show in fact will be their first ever show outside the UK!!
