Self-described as a “post-rock duo and loop orkestra” le_mol induce catharsis via a sapient juxtaposition of expansive post-rock crescendos and loopy synth passages. This Austrian duo also playfully pair funky and ironic song titles and nostalgic pictures of Vienna’s Wurstelprater to create a cunning social commentary via odd time signatures and Polaroid-coloured lenses. Like diving down into a time-warped tunnel, le_mol music is vaguely futuristic and familiarly melancholic; a sonic time travel machine! The resulting product of this organic mixture of moods, sounds, and images is a colourful sonic explosion that entrances and captures the listener!
