Treebeard (aus)

We’re super stoked to have Treebeard on the 2025 line-up! The band was recommended to us during the 2024 edition by a fan no less! We were sitting a long table during our after-party and these Aussie’s were named at the question “who should be bring over next year?”. We checked their music, a few emails were exchanged, and we have since then (through dunk!records and dunk!pressing and our best friends at Bird’s Robe), released their two albums on vinyl!

Drawing from post rock, post metal, prog & shoegaze, Treebeard's music involves lengthy & dynamic songs, ranging from the peaceful and emotive, to the destructive and furious. The band released their debut album 'NOSTALGIA' in 2021, garnering praise for its fresh approach to the genre, as well as its potent sense of atmosphere. In 2024, Treebeard released their follow-up "SNOWMAN", another epic concept album but with a much heavier and emotionally cathartic approach.

Since their formation in 2019, Treebeard have increasingly established themselves as a leading force in the next generation of post music sharing the stage with staple bands of the genre, including Russian Circles, Tangled Thoughts of Leaving, Solkyri, Khan, hubris, as well as having an upcoming Australian tour with God Is An Astronaut!
